LOCK DOWN!
It would appear that there are certain individuals that think it is OK to go fishing during lock down. Not only do they think fishing without a permit is OK and when challenged by a member of our club they think it is OK to threaten them.
THIS IS NOT OK AND WILL NOT BE TOLLERATED.
Fortunately for these individuals they had left the area by the time the bailiffs arrived.
Lockdown is in force for very good reasons. The bailiffs will involve the police if anyone is caught. There is no excuses.
So to reiterate what lock down means.
1. This means no fishing.
2. Fishing without a valid permit is illegal and if caught the full powers of the law will be called upon and used where necessary.
BE SAFE, USE SOCIAL DISTANCING, STAY AY HOME!
ONLY TRAVEL FOR ESSENTIAL REASONS.
FISHING AIN’T ONE OF THEM.
The sooner this is understood by all the sooner we can get back to some sort of normality.
